Our Impact
One Day at a Time.
For more than four decades, Day at a Time Club has provided a consistent, welcoming space for individuals and families seeking recovery in Lakewood and the surrounding community.
What began as a simple meeting space has grown into one of the most active recovery gathering places in the area.
Impact doesn’t always make headlines.
Sometimes, it looks like a room full of chairs and people choosing to show up.
Day At A Time Club
A Hub for Recovery
Each week, Day at a Time Club hosts more than 60 twelve-step meetings serving fellowships such as:
• Alcoholics Anonymous
• Al-Anon
• Crystal Meth Anonymous
• Co-Dependents Anonymous
• And many others
That means thousands of meeting seats filled each year by individuals committed to improving their lives.
Recovery is not a one-time event — it’s an ongoing journey.
Having a stable place to gather makes that journey possible.
Day At A Time Club
40 Years of Commitment
Since its founding, Day at a Time Club has operated continuously — providing space, structure, and community.
Over 40 years:
• Nearly $3 million has been invested in rent
• Tens of thousands of meetings have been held
• Countless milestones have been celebrated
• Generations of families have been impacted
The club has remained steady through changing times, economic shifts, and community growth — always focused on serving those who walk through its doors.
Why Stability Matters
A consistent meeting location provides more than convenience.
It creates:
• Reliability for those in early recovery
• Safety for families seeking support
• Continuity for long-standing groups
• Accessibility for future generations
As Day at a Time Club looks toward the future, ensuring long-term stability remains a priority.
The Next Chapter
The DAAT Classic – Recovery On The Green marks the beginning of a long-term effort to strengthen and secure the future of the club.
By participating in the tournament — as a player, sponsor, or donor — you help sustain a community resource that has quietly served for 40 years.
This is not about a single event.
It is about long-term impact.
Be Apart Of The Impact
Play. Sponsor. Give. However you choose to participate, you’re helping sustain a 40-year community institution and investing in a stronger future for recovery in Lakewood.
